20+ Years on the Cutting Edge: Lasers in Dentistry – Watch-In
with Dr. Chris Walinski
1CE | AGD Code: 135 | Clinical
- Be introduced to the many different lasers used in dentistry
- Learn why a single laser wavelength is not appropriate for every dental indication – one laser simply cannot do it all
- Learn what is possible with lasers in dentistry, and what is not
- Be exposed to novel techniques of using light to cut teeth, bone and soft tissue
- Learn how to improve your esthetic results and offer an option in treating peri-implant diseases.
The topic of lasers in dentistry can be a confusing alphabet soup of elements from the periodic table combined with meaningless wavelengths. What began as a simple excisional device has transformed into a technology which can be used in every dental specialty. This entertaining course will make sense of it all without requiring a PhD in laser physics.
In addition, you will learn some more non-traditional laser procedures beyond simple soft tissue excision. Presentation topics will include techniques to enhance periodontal surgery, treating ailing and failing implants and alternatives to traditional dental modalities.
