Dr. Stephanie Mapp

Dr. Stephanie Mapp has 25 years of real world dental experience as well as continuing education. Her very successful dental start up is still going strong after 17 years. For five and a half years she also owned a second office in a very affluent Florida coastal community. She has spent the last few years developing a system to evaluate PPO insurance plans and managing the challenges of the changing dental insurance landscape. Dr. Mapp attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry after only three years of undergraduate education in the Psychology Department. She spent eight years as an associate working in several cities in Florida and experienced many types of dental practices. She worked in seven different types of dental offices which included all ranges of socioeconomic backgrounds from public health to boutique FFS offices. Dr. Mapp lives in Fleming Island, Florida with her son Charlie, three dogs and her ER doctor boyfriend. Most of her time away from the office is spent traveling the globe and cheering for the Florida Gators. She has also contributed to the book, Mommy Dentists in Business: Juggling Family and Life While Running a Business by Dr. Grace Yum. Her newest venture is her consulting company Mapp Your Practice which helps new and existing owners set up systems for dealing with PPO insurance in their dental practices.

Dr. Darlene Hachmeister

Dr. Darlene Hachmeister retired as a board-certified Endodontist after 25 years of clinical experience. She practiced in the U.S. Air Force and a partner-ship based private practice in Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1994, Dr. Hachmeister pursued additional training through an AEGD with the Air Force. She spent the next 4 years as a general dentist, focusing on most of the endodontic and oral surgery needs at her assignments and a deployment to the Middle East.

In 1999, she was accepted into the Endodontic Residency Program at Lackland AFB/University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Prior to the completion of her Air Force commitment and transition into private practice, she served as the Chief of Endodontics and AEGD residency staff at Nellis AFB, Nevada. She entered her private practice group as an associate and became a partner after one year. She enjoyed many years as a board clinical endodontist and a business owner. Prior to retirement, Dr. Hachmeister held a position on the American Association of Endodontists Continuing Education Committee. She remains a scientific manuscript reviewer with the Journal of Endodontics. She has enjoyed
her career as a dentist and is grateful to give back to the dental community. She continues to volunteer within Florida’s Mission of Mercy dental outreach program. Dr. Hachmeister lives in Satellite Beach, Florida. She met and married her general dentist husband in dental school and they are blessed with two sons. They enjoy all things Florida – especially the Gators!

Dr. Danielle Davis

Dr. Danielle Davis was born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in Austin, TX.  She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree (Hook ’em Horns!) and went on to obtain her doctorate at Midwestern University in Arizona, where she graduated at the top of her class.  Dr. Davis met her husband, a native Memphian, her very first day of dental school. Fun fact: They sat next to each other in class because they had the same last name…must have been fate! Danielle is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of her profession and invests countless hours in continuing education every year.  She truly cares for each and every one of her patients and treats everyone who walks through her doors like family. In her spare time she loves exercising, arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her husband and sweet fur baby, LoLa.

Dr. Paul Goodman

Dr. Paul Goodman is a practicing general dentist and the managing partner of a group practice with two locations along with his brother, Jeffrey, in Mercer County, NJ. Over the past ten years, Dr. Goodman has acquired three dental practices and has transformed his father’s general practice into a dental group that employs four general dentists, two specialists, and over twenty team members in two locations. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2002, Dr. Goodman pursued additional training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.   During his general practice residency and hospital fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Dr. Goodman had the fortunate opportunity to learn how to place and restore dental implants. Dr. Goodman has a passion for teaching, speaking and giving back to the dental community. Dr. Goodman lives in Center City, Philadelphia with his wife, Mary, and their two daughters, Daphne & Drew.  They love all Philadelphia has to offer, especially the fantastic restaurant scene.

Dr. Carl Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg’s achievements span a wide range of professional and personal activities. Most recently he was voted again as one of Philadelphia’s top dentists. Philadelphia magazine surveyed the dentists in the surrounding five counties to compile their list of top dentists. After attending Temple University for only three years he was accepted into their School of Dentistry. In 1980 he received his Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery. During his time at the undergraduate and graduate level, he received numerous student awards, most notable being elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Steinberg’s formal training continued with post-graduate education at West Jersey Hospital’s residency program. Upon completion of the program he entered private practice settling in center city Philadelphia. For the next sixteen years Dr. Steinberg was a clinical instructor at the residency program helping the students understand the importance of the interrelationship of the dentistry they were learning and the people they were treating.

Dr. Steinberg’s continual association with education exhibits a commitment to the ideal of being a perpetual student. A philosophy of ‘everyone is my teacher, I can learn from everyone’ is true when he is the student listening to others or the instructor being challenged by his students. He is currently part of the faculty at Spear.
