NDBC5: High Level Resin Mastery

While dentists dream about doing the large, complex cases, the reality is that the majority of what we do is basic operative dentistry. With so little attention paid to this aspect of our job, it’s no wonder dentists are increasingly frustrated by unpredictable results. This presentation is designed to walk you through a class 2 cavity, from preparation sequence to the final polish. Common problems and potential pitfalls will also be discussed.

The crux of a successful prosthetic outcome lies in the integration of several key variables. Effective communication with the dental laboratory is one such component. This course aims to provide a blueprint for improved efficiency and predictability between clinician and laboratory. Photography and material selection will also be addressed. Additionally, treatment of the discolored dentition will be discussed.
