Full-arch implant supported rehabilitations have become a mainstream treatment to restore function and esthetics to the edentulous patients with a dentition that needs replacement. However, proper diagnostic and clinical factors must be recognized to properly treatment plan these cases to avoid esthetic or biomechanical failures. This course will cover pre-surgical nacho ingredients a provider needs to take into consideration when planning these types of cases with the overall goal of predictable esthetic and functional outcomes.

Meet Your Instructors

Paul Goodman, DMD

Dr. Paul Goodman

Dr. Paul Goodman is a practicing general dentist and the managing partner of a group practice with two locations along with his brother, Jeffrey, in Mercer County, NJ. Over the past ten years, Dr. Goodman has acquired three dental practices and has transformed his father’s general practice into a dental group that employs multiple general dentists,  specialists, and over twenty team members in two locations. 

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2002, Dr. Goodman pursued additional training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.   During his general practice residency and hospital fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Dr. Goodman had the fortunate opportunity to learn how to place and restore dental implants.  Dr. Paul Goodman is also known as Dr. Nacho.  Founder of the Dental Nachos Facebook group dedicated to helping dentists and teams increase their success, happiness and most of all, have more fun dentisting.

Dr. Goodman lives in Center City, Philadelphia with his wife, Mary, and their two daughters, Daphne & Drew.  They love all Philadelphia has to offer, especially the fantastic restaurant scene.Visit or to learn more.

Dr. Robert Slauch

Dr. Robert Slauch

Robert W. Slauch, DDS, MDSc, FACP is a surgically trained board-certified prosthodontist. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Slauch provides quality restorative patient treatment including placement of dental implants as well as complete smile makeover solutions utilizing the All-on-4/6 treatment concept and his practice’s trademarked Teeth in a Day® immediate load protocol. He also provides esthetic crowns, bridges, veneers and state-of-the-art digital dentures. Dr. Slauch maintains a full-time private practice schedule in two offices (Pi Dental Center in Fort Washington, PA and Pennington Dental Associates in Pennington, NJ). He is also Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Restorative Sciences at UPenn School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Slauch is a native of the Philadelphia area. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, where he also played baseball. He earned his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics, Dental Implant Surgery, and a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Dr. Slauch is heavily engaged in scientific research  and has been published in several dental journals. In addition, he has achieved national recognition from the American College of Prosthodontists and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics for his research. He was one of six national finalists in the 2019 John J. Sharry Research Competition hosted by the American College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Slauch is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Prosthodontics Association and the Montgomery/Bucks Dental Society. Outside of the practice, you can find Dr. Slauch on the golf course, catching a sports game or exploring the Philadelphia restaurant scene.
