Dr. Matthew Annese, Practice Owner
Dr. Matthew Annese is a general dentist who owns two general practices in the greater Boston area. He has gone through three practice transitions in the last three years which include purchasing a turn key, purchasing a distressed quasi-start up, and merging a retiring doctors practice and hopefully creating a surgical suit/ stand alone specialist office.
After graduating from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2012, Dr. Annese worked at an FQHC full time to fulfill loan repayment in Boston. This experience served as the surgical foundation for his continued growth. Here Dr. Annese was the externship director for Tufts and Boston University students on externship and also the site director for the Lutheran Residency.
Dr. Annese has a passion for helping other dentists in any facet of dentistry, whether it be business, managerial or clinical related. He has accumed well over 250 hours of ce per year the last three years and is constantly learning, and adapting. Dr. Annese started a Spear Study club with fellow colleagues to be a resource group for dentists to get along, share their struggles and help each other and support each other rather than view other dentists as competition and aviseraries. Also a big fan of Gif posting on facebook groups.
Dr. Annese resides in the suburbs of Boston with his wife Allison, and two children, Bennett and Adeline. A lifelong Massachusetts resident (minus a couple years for college in New Orleans) he enjoys all the activities that the four seasons have to offer in New England, from the beaches and seafood in Maine in the summer, to the foliage and skiing in Vermont in the fall and winter.
